Authenticity & Coin Grading

Authenticity & Coin Grading

Republic Vault believes collectors should know exactly what they are buying. Every product page is written to identify the available specifications for the coin, including metal purity, weight, denomination, year or date range, and stated condition.

How We Describe Coins

  • Brilliant Uncirculated (BU): A coin intended to show minimal circulation wear. Minor marks from minting, handling, or storage can still occur.
  • Proof: A collector coin produced with specially prepared dies and surfaces. Packaging and certification are included only when stated in the listing.
  • Cull: A coin with visible wear, marks, cleaning, damage, or other imperfections that affect collectible appearance.
  • Random Year: The specific date is selected from current inventory and cannot be guaranteed unless the listing states otherwise.

Third-Party Grading

A coin is represented as certified or graded only when the product listing identifies the grading service and grade. Uncertified coins should not be assumed to carry a third-party opinion.

Product Images

Some listings use representative photography. The coin you receive will match the product type, metal, denomination, date range, and condition described, but natural variations can occur.
